Altharine Visagie is a registered Psychometrist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and has been in independent private practice since 2008.

She specialises in psychometric assessment, interpretation, comprehensive report writing, job analysis and profiling, and the design of custom test batteries. A significant part of her work is in the aviation sector, where she assesses candidates for pilot roles (including pre-cadet, first officer and command positions), cabin crew, ground staff and management across commercial airlines and medevac operations.

She also provides career counselling, stakeholder feedback and coaching, and supports talent management across the employee lifecycle.

Altharine is committed to ethical, valid and reliable assessment practice in line with HPCSA, ITC and legislative requirements. She previously lectured in psychometric assessment and related subjects.
